In the event that you detect and report, during the guarantee period, a defect in the workmanship or material of the equipment, then we shall provide the services hereinafter described.

1)      Definitions – For the purpose of this guarantee the following terms shall apply. (i) “The Company”, “We”, “Our” or “Us” refers to Restmore Limited (registered in England under number 11332883); (ii) “Equipment” shall mean any product; (iii) “Consumer”, “You” or “Your” means the residential end user of the equipment who is the original purchaser of the equipment; (iv) “Commencement Date” shall mean the date that the equipment is delivered and installed into the consumer premises; (v) “Service Period” shall mean the THREE (3) year period commencing on the commencement date.

 2)      Coverage – During the Service Period, we will repair or replace, at our discretion any defective equipment. We will return the equipment to a properly functioning state.  To obtain performance you must be the original purchaser and be able to provide us with the original, dated proof of purchase for the equipment.  This guarantee only extends to customers. Only our representatives may perform repairs on the equipment under this guarantee.  Replaced parts shall be covered under this guarantee for the remainder of the service period or for thirty (30) days whichever is longer. We will provide on-site service wherever possible. This guarantee is non-transferable.

 3)      Exclusions – This guarantee does not include service needed on equipment as a result of the following: (i) Dropped product or components including remote controls, cracked remote controller screens, or cracked remote housing; (ii) Cosmetic changes, tears or failure of fabrics, woods, foam, pads, plastics, upholsteries, exterior coverings and damages or changes resulting from normal wear and tear; (iii) Installation set-up or relocation from the originally installed location; (iv) Negligence, misuse, abuse or improper maintenance, electrical disturbances and power surges, acts of nature, or work, attachments, additions, alterations or modifications by persons other than us; (v) Damage or malfunction whatsoever caused by an animal or pet; (vi) Damage or malfunction whatsoever caused by liquids of any kind; (vii) Rental, business, commercial, institutional or other non-residential use; (viii) Unnecessary service calls. If no problem is found upon diagnosis by us or any other third party, you may be charged our standard rate for service calls; (ix) Floor models that have been on display for more than nine (9) months are not covered under any provision of this guarantee.

 4)      Your Responsibilities – You shall; (i) operate the equipment in an environment meeting the requirements outlined in the equipment’s owner manual and other provided instructions; (ii) Promptly report to us any diagnostic messages; (iii) Permit no work on the equipment except by us.

 5)      Your Safety - When buying any massage chair check for the permanent label making sure they conform with UK Fire Safety regulations.  No label means no good! We take your safety seriously and our equipment adheres to and is compliant with UK Fire Safety Regulations;

 

The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (amended 1989 and 1993) are UK law and are designed to ensure that upholstery components and composites used for furniture supplied in the UK meet specified ignition resistance levels.

 There are six main elements contained within the Regulations:  

1. Filling materials must meet specified ignition requirements

2. Upholstery composites must be cigarette resistant

 3. Covers must be match resistant (with certain exceptions as outlined in Section 8.2 and Appendix A5)

 4. A permanent label must be fitted to every item of new furniture (with the exception of mattresses and bed-bases). 

5. A display label must be fitted to every item of new furniture at the point of sale (with the exception of mattresses, bed-bases, pillows, scatter cushions, seat pads, loose covers sold separately from the furniture and stretch covers)

 6. The first supplier of domestic upholstered furniture in the UK must maintain records for five years to prove compliance.
